Our beautifully appointed studio will cater to your every need.
Sarah is available for an additional fee, for on site makeup application to take the stress out of getting ready make you look your absolute best.
We have a selection of gorgeous boutique maternity gowns available for use in maternity and newborn sessions as well as a selection of simple dresses for your little miss. All newborn props are available in studio but we welcome sentimental items brought in just for your session.
WHEN SHOULD WE BOOK?
The best time to contact us is before you have your baby. We will then add your due date to our calendaR and calculate your maternity session date (around 35 weeks). Once your baby arrives, within the first two weeks is the best time to schedule your session. Between seven and Fourteen days old works best to get peaceful sleepy and very curly poses. After two weeks of age, babies are more likely to be disturbed while sleeping.
WHAT IS A SESSION LIKE?
NEWBORN SESSIONS ARE DONE AT OUR PAMPA STUDIO IN ORDER TO CONTROL CLIMATE AND TO HAVE ACCESS TO ALL PROPS AND SET-UPS. IT’S NOT UNCOMMON FOR THE SESSION WITH A NEWBORN TO LAST 3-4 HOURS, ALLOWING PLENTY OF TIME TO FEED AND COMFORT YOUR BABY – THERE IS NO RUSH WITH NEWBORN SESSIONS.
WHAT SHOULD we WEAR?
WE DO LIKE TO PHOTOGRAPH A NEWBORN MOSTLY IN LITTLE TO NO CLOTHES, BUT FEEL FREE TO BRING AN OUTFIT THAT YOU MAY WANT HIM OR HER IN. PLEASE NOTE THAT MANY CLOTHING CHANGES MAY MAKE YOUR LITTLE ONE UPSET, SO IT IS BEST TO DO BIRTHDAY SUIT SHOTS AND POSSIBLY ONE OUTFIT.
For maternity we have a range of gowns for you to choose from if you have not found one of your own. We ENCOURAGE simple t shirts or button ups for the boys without patterns or logos.
